Anderson Hardwood Floors’ Biltmore Estate for Your Home Collection is inspired by George Vanderbilt’s late-nineteenth century estate, Biltmore House.  After receiving his share of the family fortune, Vanderbilt hired renowned architect Richard Morris Hunt to design this estate. Located in the Blue Ridge mountains of Asheville, North Carolina, the Biltmore House became the largest private home in America, with more than 175,000 square feet of living space and 250 rooms.  Vanderbilt decorated and furnished the estate himself, gathering ideas from around the world.
